Welcome to the Nicholas John Interiors website. Nicholas John Interiors is a trading name of NJ Home Interiors Ltd (Company No. 13251482). Our registered office is 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. This website, www.nicholasjohninteriors.co.uk, is owned and operated by NJ Home Interiors Ltd.

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, govern your use of this website and any purchases made through it. By accessing or purchasing from this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by English law. We sell only to customers resident within the United Kingdom.

1. Formation of Contract

A contract between you and Nicholas John Interiors for the sale of our products exists once your order has been accepted, processed, and dispatched. Prices and availability are subject to change, but we will always notify you if any variation occurs. You may cancel your order if you do not wish to accept the change, and a full refund will be issued.

2. Right to Cancel

You may cancel your order at any time before dispatch. No charge will apply unless your order includes a special-order or made-to-order item, for which a 25% cancellation fee applies. Refunds for cancellations will be issued within seven days.

3. Returns

If you wish to return an item, you must contact us within seven days of receipt. Once a return authorisation is issued, you may return the item for a refund provided it is unused, unaltered, and in its original packaging and condition.

All original packaging, protective materials, and any included parts must be returned intact unless the item arrived damaged. Failure to return items in their original packaging may result in a partial refund or deduction to cover repackaging or restoration costs.

You may arrange to return the item yourself or request collection by our courier service (charges vary by location). Items returned damaged or incomplete may be eligible for a partial refund only. Refunds are processed within 24 hours of inspection upon return.

4. Damaged or Faulty Goods

Our delivery team will assemble your item, take images, and note any visible damage. If a product arrives damaged, please notify us within 24 hours and provide photographs. We will arrange replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate.

For items found faulty after delivery, we will inspect and, where verified, offer a replacement or refund. If you decline replacement, you are responsible for returning the item at your cost or via our collection service.

5. Made-to-Order Products

Made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once production has started. These include customised sizes, finishes, or fabrics. Returns are accepted only if the item is faulty. Please ensure all specifications are correct prior to confirming your order.

6. Delivery

We aim to deliver within the stated lead time. Free White Glove Delivery includes room-of-choice delivery, assembly, and packaging removal. Deliveries outside mainland UK are by quotation. If you are unavailable at the time of delivery, re-delivery or storage fees may apply.

All delivery dates are estimates and may vary due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any indirect losses caused by delivery delays.

7. Payment and Taxes

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Visa Debit, and Maestro cards through a secure payment gateway. Orders paid by cheque or phone are dispatched only once cleared funds are received. All transactions are in GBP (£) and include VAT at the prevailing UK rate.

For deliveries outside the UK mainland, please contact info@nicholasjohninteriors.co.uk for a quotation. International buyers are responsible for import taxes and duties.

8. Conformity of Goods

We take care to ensure product descriptions and specifications are accurate. Variations in colour, grain, or finish may occur, particularly for natural materials. Dimensions are approximate and minor differences do not constitute a defect.

9. Promotions and Price Match Promise

We regularly offer discounts and promotions. Only one discount code may be used per order unless specified. If a product you purchase is found cheaper with an approved UK retailer, we will beat that price where commercially possible.

• The product must be identical in size, colour, and specification.
• The competitor must be an authorised retailer, not a marketplace or auction site.
• The product must be in stock and available for immediate delivery.

10. Disclaimer and Limitations of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nicholas John Interiors is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the price paid for the product.

We are not responsible for service interruptions, loss of data, or technical issues beyond our control. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only, and we accept no liability for their content.

All content on this website, including text, photographs, logos, and designs, is the copyright or trademark of Nicholas John Interiors or its licensors. You may print or download portions of the site for personal use only. Any reproduction, distribution, or modification for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law. Any dispute arising from their use shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
