Benches

A bench is one of the most adaptable pieces you can buy. Slide one under a dining table for relaxed family meals, place an upholstered bench at the foot of the bed for dressing, or use a slim wooden bench in the hallway for pulling on shoes. Our designer benches come in solid and live-edge wood, leather, bouclé, velvet and linen, from Uttermost, Ashford & Grey, Jonathan Charles, Élan & Co, Keiichi and Tommy Franks.

Sizing tips

For dining, choose a bench about 30cm shorter than the table so it tucks between the legs. At the end of a bed, aim for a bench roughly the width of the mattress or slightly narrower. Hallway benches work best at 35–40cm deep.

Most pieces in this collection come with free white-glove delivery on orders over £100, so your furniture is carried in, set up in the room of your choice and unpacked for you. Coordinate with dining tables, beds or hallway furniture.

Pieces to start with

Good places to begin include the Uttermost Connor Reclaimed Wood Bench, the Jonathan Charles Bench Circles - Gilded Iron, the Tommy Franks Lobby Bench and the Keiichi U-Bench with Channel Stitching.
