Beds & headboards

The bed sets the mood for the whole bedroom. Our designer beds include deep upholstered headboards in velvet, bouclé and linen, solid wood and veneer frames, four poster beds and sleek modern designs, in double, king and super king sizes. Brands include Theodore Alexander, Jonathan Charles, Caracole, Ashford & Grey, Keiichi and Twenty10 Design.

Choosing the right bed

UK sizes are double (135 x 190cm), king (150 x 200cm) and super king (180 x 200cm). Leave at least 60–70cm either side of the bed for bedside tables and access. A tall, padded headboard suits a large room with high ceilings; a low wooden frame keeps a smaller room feeling open.

Please note that UK and US bed sizes differ, so always check the mattress size on the product page. Orders over £100 on most pieces include complimentary white-glove delivery to mainland UK, placed in the room you choose, assembled and with all packaging removed.

Complete the room with bedside tables, a chest of drawers, wardrobes and throws.

Pieces to start with

Good places to begin include the Isadora King Linen Upholstered Bed Weathered, the Hooker Furniture Coastal Breeze Super King Bed, the Keiichi Highgrove Super King Size Bed and the Jonathan Charles Super King Bed Frame Barley in Mazo.
